INFORMATION AS PROVIDED BY MY FRIEND, RAY SMITH, OF WINNIPEG, MANITOBA

Here is the scan of the Manitoba Illegal gaming club chip ordered and delivered on April 14, 1948 to a gentleman in Winnipeg

whose initials I presume are KLP. 3,000 red and 2,000 blue were ordered mono KLP Chicago style on both sides in gold.

Delivered through Lancaster, MN. Regards. Ray

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION COMPLIMENTS OF WES PARKES

The order card shows that they were ordered by Max Koffman, 190 McKenzie St, Winnipeg in 1948, but there is no indication what the KLP stood for. It was a very large order--thousands of chips, which usually means a big illegal club.
